DO NOT confuse Bitcoin with being “cryptocurrency.” Bitcoin is one of many cryptocurrencies. Many use the expressions “bitcoin” and “cryptocurrency” interchangeably and this would be in error.
So, if someone asked you, “Do you own cryptocurrency?” And, your answer is, “Yes, I own some bitcoin” this would be correct. Why? Because you qualified the type of cryptocurrency you own.
